Enhancing wellness through innovative ozone treatments for longevity.
Enhancing wellness through innovative ozone treatments for longevity.
Ozone therapy is a medical treatment that involves using ozone gas (O₃) to treat various health conditions.
Ozone is a molecule made up of three oxygen atoms, that has powerful oxidative properties. In ozone therapy, ozone is administered in controlled amounts to the body, with the intention of increasing oxygen levels, boosting the immune system, promoting healing, and fighting infections.
There are several ways to administer ozone therapy, including:
The therapy is based on the belief that ozone can stimulate the body’s natural healing mechanisms and improve overall health by increasing oxygen delivery, enhancing circulation, and fighting infections.
Ozone therapy can offer a variety of health benefits.
Here are some of the potential health benefits that ozone therapy is thought to provide:
How is the treatment administered?
This treatment is based around the procedure called Major Auto-Hemotherapy (MAH).
It involves being set up with an IV drip and having approx 200 millilitres of blood drawn from a vein.
This blood is then mixed with ozone and oxygen via an Ozone Generator and then intravenously infused back into the vein which is then taken up into circulation and distributed around the body. This is called a one pass.
During a treatment of one to two hours this process may be repeated up to 10 times, hence the name ’10 pass Ozone Therapy’.
Ozone insufflation is a method of delivering ozone (O₃) gas into the body through a specific opening, like the rectum, vagina, nose or ears.
The ozone is introduced in small amounts, can help improve circulation, boost the immune system, and fight infections. The ozone's strong oxidizing properties can help detoxify the body and promote healing.
In simple terms, it's a way of getting ozone into the body through a specific route to help improve health.
An ozone sauna is a type of sauna that uses ozone (O₃) gas to help detoxify the body.
In a typical ozone sauna, the person sits in a sauna-like chamber, and ozone is introduced. The ozone is absorbed through the skin, it can help remove toxins, improve circulation, and boost overall health by increasing oxygen levels in the body.
In simpler terms, it's a sauna treatment that adds ozone to the mix, aiming to enhance the detox process and provide potential health benefits.

Ozone therapy is not recommended for individuals with certain health conditions, including:
GP6D deficiency
Hyperthyroidism
Thrombocytopenia
Allery to Heparin or citrate (citrus fruits)
Acute alcohol intoxication
Haemochromatosis
Cardiovascular instability
Active seizure
Pregnancy
Ozone allergy (this is very rare)
Always consult with a healthcare professional before starting ozone therapy.
Ozone therapy is generally considered safe when performed by trained professionals and in controlled amounts.
It’s important to consult a healthcare provider before undergoing ozone therapy.
The side effects are usually temporary and should resolve in a few days or shortly after treatment.
Please note that these are possible side effects, and most people don’t experience any.
Reddening of the skin (erythema) at the site of injection into the vein
Possible bruising at the vein entry site
Dry or itching eyes
Light headedness
Mild headache
Phlebitis
Mild irritation to the lungs with a slight urge to cough
IV Ozone therapy can lead to a detoxification reaction (Herxheimer reaction) which can include fatigue, headache, fever, chills, flushing, body ache and mild hypotension, as we have explained above at the Ozone Health Clinic we start slowly to reduce the risk of this.
If this does occur we recommend taking certain nutrients to help eliminate the toxins.
